Recce - Exterior

The majority of our exterior shots will take place in Priory Gardens. This includes parts of the opening montage and all of the scenes where the two main characters meet.

The benches in the gardens are quite and secluded so will be good for filming and adding to the romantic side of the film.

The pathway runs next to a bush were people can go through. This is where we are going to film the boy and the girl running into each other, and him dropping and losing his presents.

These pictures show where we are going to film the two girls jogging and part of the montage (when the couple are walking through the park.)

Production Schedule

Below is my production schedule. I will update it as I go along with my completed dates, and any changes I have made to it.
The produciton schedule shows who is doing what and the time and date we plan to finish it, as well as any resources well will need. It is handy as it keeps us from falling behind on work and meeting out set deadlines and to remind us who is doing what.

Film Outline

> The film starts with Rachel and Kevin in love.  A montage of them on Valentine’s Day shows this. We see them going for a walk in the park holding hands, sitting down to a romantic meal, hugging whilst watching a film. Soft music is playing throughout the montage. The music suddenly cuts as Rachel and Kevin have an argument. Kevin breaks up with Rachel and she walks out. Slamming the door.

> Its Christmas time and Rachel and her quirky friend are out having a run. Rachel’s friend sits down on a bench and tells Rachel to carry on and do a few more laps whilst she catches her breath. Rachel runs off and trips over. She falls into Paul and he drops the presents he has just bought for Christmas. Rachel apologies and helps Paul pick up the presents. They start to chat and Paul thanks her for her help. Paul walks off and as Rachel starts to leave she notices he has left a present that he dropped, she looks over her shoulder to see if she can see him but he has gone. Rachel walks back over to her friend and tells her what has just happened and that she has found the perfect boy and they need to find him to give the present he has dropped.

The two friends recognise the shop he brought it from and go there to ask if they remember him buying it. The film revolves around the two girls finding this man in time for Christmas.
